Blueberry Jam

 



Ingredients

1. 250g blueberries

2. 120g sugar

3. 5 tbsp lemon juice (less if prefer less sour)


Method 

1. Wash and drain blueberries.

2. Put blueberries,  sugar and lemon juice in a cooking pot. Cook over low heat. 

3. Stir occasionally to mix ingredients.  

4.  Once sugar dissolves,  stir constantly to prevent jam from getting burnt. I prefer to leave some blueberries whole instead of crushing all of them. So do not need to wait for all blueberries to be crushed.

5. Take the pan off the heat when jam starts to boil and thicken. When jam is thick enough to leave an open trail behind the spoon, it is ready.  

6. Ladle jam into a sterile glass container. Cool it before storing into refrigerator.

                  Cook jam over low heat
