Pork Chop Taiwanese Syle





  


Ingredients
1. 450g pork loin (1 to 1.5 cm thickness)  
2. 2 tbsp light soy sauce
3. 1/2 tsp salt or lesser if you prefer less salty
4. 1/2 tsp sugar
5. 1 tsp five spice powder
6. 1 1/2 tbsp chinese cooking wine
7.  1 tsp minced garlic
8. 2 tbsp water
9. 2 tbsp cornstarch
10. 1 tsp baking powder
11. some pepper

Method

1.  Tenderise pork with the back of the knife or meat mallet.
2.  Marinate pork with all the ingredients for at least 1 hour or overnight.
3.  Shallow fry the pork until golden brown.
