Japanese Pickled Cucumber Sunomono
Ingredient
1. 1 Japanese cucumber
2. 1 tbps white vinegar (can be replaced by apple cider vinegar)
3. 1 tbsp soy sauce
4. 1/2 sugar
5. 1/2 tsp sesame oil
6. some sesame seeds
7. salt
Method
1. Slice cucumber thinly. Add salt and mix. Let it sit for 5 min until moisture comes out.
2. Squeeze moisture out of cucumber.
2. In another bowl, mix vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil.
3. Mix cucumber with sauce and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
*Note : Keep it in the refrigerator overnight, it tastes better.
