Chicken Pie using Campbell Cream of Chicken Soup Recipe
I wanted to bake something for the New Year celebration party. I didn't want to bake cake as most of my friends did not like cake. I baked chicken pie instead. It turned out to be a success and I received many positive comments.
Below is the foolproof and easy recipe.
Ingredients
1. Chicken breast 200 g
2. 4 small potatoes or 2 large potatoes
3. Half a cup of frozen vegetables
4. 1/3 can cream of chicken
5. dash of black pepper
6. 1 shallot (minced)
7. 1 tsp milk (optional)
8. 2 puff pastry sheets
Method
1. Pre-heat oven to 160 degree.
2. Cut potatoes into small cubes. Pour potatoes into a pot of boiling water. Cook until tender. Drain potatoes and put them aside.
3. Cut chicken breast into small cube. Sautee shallot until fragrant and add chicken.
4. Add frozen vegetables and potatoes when chicken is cooked.
5. Add cream of chicken, milk and black pepper. Stir well until boil.
6. Lay puff pastry sheet onto a pie tray.
7. Pour mixture into the tray and cover the tray with another puff pastry sheet.
8. Seal the pastry well. Gently cut a few vent holes on top.
9. Bake for about 30 mins or until golden.
