Dinning at LENAS

LENAS, American Italian restaurant,  is a subsidiary of Ministry Of Food (MOF).

LENAS offered a wide variety of food.  We were spoilt for choices and took a long time to order our food.

The Buffalo Wings were the deep fried type and serves with Thai sauce.  I prefer the usually buffalo wings with lots of spicy buffalo sauce.  I felt that the Thai sauce was redundant as the wings were marinaded with buffalo sauce and were flavourful enough.

Bacon and Egg pizza was quite good.  It was generously covered with ham.

The spicy grilled chicken was well grilled.  The edges were charred which enhanced the taste of the chicken.  We choose 2 sides dishes, garden salad and fries, to accompany the grill chicken.
Garden salad was a disappointment as there was no dressing at all.  The fries came with two dipping sauces, cheese and chillies.

My daughter had a hard time choosing the base for the spaghetti as there were a few bases to choose from.  Finally she settled for the Aglio Olio base.  The spaghetti was cooked al dente and had lots of garlic.  The amount of chilli flakes was just right.

The deserts were our favourite.  Crème Brulee was a winner.  It had the milky taste and 'custardy' feel.  I could feel tiny bites of sugar bursting in my mouth with every spoonful of crème brulee.

Brownie Chunk were accompanied with ice cream and bananas wrapped in popiah skins.  The bananas reminded me of goreng pisang.
